Call to Order and
Roll Call
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Vice-Chairman Ben Fiorito followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Township Supervisors in attendance were Ben Fiorito, Steven Rothenberger and Timothy Woodward. Also in attendance were Joseph Bresnan, Township Solicitor and Stanley Seitzinger, Jr., Township Manager.
Citizens Comments
Evan Ross, Palm Tavern, discussed the proposed cross walk on Gravel Pike to be located at the intersection of Gravel Pike and Station Road. The Board of Supervisors indicated that Upper Hanover Township will request that the Township Engineer prepare a design for the cross walk and that the Township would also request that PennDOT conduct a speed limit study on Gravel Pike (Route 29) from Water Street to the vicinity of the Palm Schwenkfelder Church. The Board of Supervisors indicated that the Township could not incur costs relating to the proposed engineering and installed improvements. Mr. Ross indicated a willingness to incur costs up to $2,800 for the project.
Historical
Committee
Mr. Woodward moved to revise the Historical Committee mission statement to approve up to eight members and to authorize that the non-township resident at-large member have a three year term. The motion further recommended the appointment of Jim Friedman to a three year township resident term on the Historical Committee from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2022. The motion was seconded by Mr. Rothenberger and carried affirmatively.
Troop K Camp Cadet
Program 2020 Donation
Mr. Rothenberger moved to approve a donation of $500 for the Troop K Camp Cadet Program for 2020. The motion was seconded by Mr. Woodward and carried affirmatively.
Emergency
Generator/HVAC Maintenance Agreements
Mr. Woodward moved to accept the proposal from the Modern Group for a one year maintenance agreement for the newly installed emergency generator system. The motion was seconded by Mr. Rothenberger and carried affirmatively. Mr. Rothenberger moved to approve up to a three year maintenance agreement for the newly installed HVAC system at the Municipal Building to B&E Energy Group. The motion was seconded by Mr. Woodward and carried affirmatively.
Powderbourne
The Board of Supervisors reviewed and discussed the status of the Powderbourne Gun Club matter following the recent on-site inspection.
Mill Hill
Preservation Area Tire Removal
The Board of Supervisors reviewed the status of the project.
Review of February
11, 2020 Board of Supervisors Regular Meeting Agenda
The Agenda was reviewed.
Other
Mr. Seitzinger reported that a copy of the Fruitville Road Bridge letter sent by Montgomery County was included in the monthly delivery envelopes.

Mr. Rothenberger moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:37 p.m. The motion was seconded by Mr. Woodward and carried affirmatively.
