Call to Order and Roll Call
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Eugene Fried followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Township Supervisors in attendance were Dorothy Diehl, Richard Fain, Ben Fiorito, Eugene Fried and Steven Rothenberger. Also in attendance were Steven English, Township Solicitor, Thomas Latshaw, Road Foreman and Stanley Seitzinger, Jr., Township Manager.
Citizens in attendance did not present comments.
Traffic Signal Video Detection
Discussion ensued concerning the installation of a traffic signal video detection system at the intersection of Route 663/Schoolhouse Road/Montgomery Avenue. Mrs. Diehl moved to accept the proposal for the installation of the traffic signal video detection camera from signal service in the amount of $ 9,889.00. The motion was seconded by Mr. Rothenberger and carried unanimously.
Relay for Life
The Board of Supervisors authorized the use of a bounce house as part of the Relay for Life program subject to receipt of an insurance certificate from both the vendor of the bounce house and the American Cancer Society.
Tractor Trailer Parking
A matter concerning the parking of tractor trailers on 10th Street in Upper Hanover Township was reviewed.
Review of March 8, 2016 Board of Supervisors Regular Meeting Agenda
The agenda was reviewed.
1. Montco 2040 Implementation Grant Program
Manager Seitzinger presented information concerning the new grant program. The categories for projects for the first year of the program were reviewed.
2. Flat Screen Monitor
The Board of Supervisors reviewed a proposal from the Township Planning Commission for the installation of a flat screen monitor in order to provide an updated method of presenting subdivision and land development plans at public meetings.
Mr. Rothenberger moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:09 p.m. The motion was seconded by Mr. Fain and carried unanimously.
