Call to Order and Roll Call
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Eugene Fried followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Township Supervisors in attendance were Dorothy Diehl, Ben Fiorito, Richard Fain, Eugene Fried and Steven Rothenberger. Also in attendance were Joseph Bresnan, Township Solicitor, Thomas Latshaw, Road Foreman and Stanley Seitzinger, Jr., Township Manager.
William Fenley suggested that the Board of Supervisors review the Township Zoning Ordinance concerning the OSHA clause relating to the ordinance sections on noise.
Mr. Fenley recommended that an additional sign should be located near the intersection of Mill Hill and Ziegler Roads in order to identify the main parking lot for the Mill Hill Preservation Area.
Municipal Building Entrance Sign Proposal
Mr. Rothenberger moved to award the Municipal Building entrance sign proposal to Reed Sign Company in the amount of $1,745.00. The motion was seconded by Mr. Fain and carried unanimously.
Municipal Building Accessibility Update and CDBG Application
Manager Seitzinger reported that Upper Hanover Township should hear soon on the status of the Community Development Block Grant Application.
Municipal Building Emergency Generator and Heating System
Manager Seitzinger reported upon cost quotations and reported that he would assemble a final cost quotation including all required items.
Discussion ensued concerning the purchase of a new computer server for the Township Building. Mr. Fiorito moved to accept the proposal from Freedom Systems through COSTARS pricing for a new server in the amount of $9,429.95. The motion was seconded by Mrs. Diehl and carried unanimously.
Truck Purchase Status
Road Foremen Tom Latshaw reported upon the receipt of specifications for the new truck.
Resolution #2018-14 – Resolution for Plan Review for New Land Development – Jefferson Street Properties Planning Module
The item was tabled for further review.
Police Department Purchases
Chairman Fried reported upon a request for the purchase of tactical vests for the East Greenville Borough Police Department. Mr. Rothenberger moved to approve the purchase of tactical vests from Atlantic Tactical in the amount of $1,530. The motion was seconded by Mr. Fain and carried unanimously.
Review of June 12, 2018 Board of Supervisors Regular Meeting Agenda
The agenda was reviewed.
Building Code Board of Appeals
Manager Seitzinger reported that the first hearing of the Upper Hanover Township Building Code Board of Appeals would be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2018.
Tax Collector Audit
Manager Seitzinger reported that the auditor completed the Tax Collector portion of the annual audit and copies of the audit were provided to the Board of Supervisors.
Larry D. Buck Memorial Bench
The Board of Supervisors agreed to place the Larry D. Buck Memorial Bench on the porch at the Upper Hanover Township Maintenance Building.
Discussion ensued on the status of the bidding of the planned concession stand at Camelot Park.
Mr. Rothenberger moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:45 p.m. The motion was seconded by Mrs. Diehl and carried unanimously.
