The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Vice-Chairman Eugene Fried. Township Supervisors in attendance were Shannan Bieler, Ben Fiorito, Eugene Fried and Mary Gibbs Kershner. Township staff members in attendance were Jeffrey Ashman, Fire Marshal, Edward Skypala, Township Solicitor, Larry Buck, Road Foreman, John Weber, LTL Consultants and Stanley Seitzinger, Jr., Township Manager.
Rod Wood of James Road invited the Township Supervisors to attend a scheduled Republican barbeque scheduled for September 17, 2011.
Rod Wood presented comments concerning the proposed recycling ordinance under consideration by the Board of Supervisors.
(Mrs. Bieler entered the meeting at 7:18 p.m.)
Additional discussion ensued concerning the proposed recycling ordinance.
Recycling
Manager Seitzinger indicated that sample drafts of various recycling ordinances were included in the meeting packet. Mr. Fiorito presented comments concerning a proposed ordinance draft.
Mrs. Bieler and Mrs. Kershner indicated they will take the most recent proposed draft to the Recycling Committee for further review and report back to the Board of Supervisors at a later date.

1. Regional Planning
Mrs. Kershner inquired as to whether the Board of Supervisors were in agreement to forward contribution information to Regional Planning. The Board of Supervisors agreed that the requested information was public information and should be forwarded as requested.
Adjournment
Mrs. Kershner moved to adjourn the meeting to an executive session concerning matters of property lease negotiation at 8:40 p.m. The motion was seconded by Mr. Fiorito and carried affirmatively.
