The
Upper Hanover Township Industrial Development Authority consists
of five members appointed by the Board of Supervisors for
five year terms.
The Authority acts to broker low interest loans to encourage
development of new businesses in the area. As a government entity,
the Authority can obtain loans at lower rates since the interest
is tax-free. The interest savings can be passed on to businesses
to encourage new or expanded job opportunities for citizens in
Upper Hanover Township and the greater Upper Perkiomen Valley.
This
Board is charged with the ongoing assessment, monitoring
and support of existing Upper Hanover Township Industries
and the seeking and attracting of new, appropriate industries
to the Township to provide new employment opportunities
and to insure a successful, thriving, industrial base.
The
Board meets the second Monday of the last month of each quarter at 7:00.
