HANOVER TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION AND BOARD OF SUPERVISORS SPECIAL JOINT MEETING
MINUTES OF MARCH 2, 2011
Call to Order and
Roll Call
The meeting was called to order at 7:20 p.m. by Planning Commission Chairman
Beverly Mudd. Planning Commission
members in attendance included Herbert Carter, Richard Fain, Jacqueline Fiorito,
William Kalb and Beverly Mudd. Board of
Supervisors in attendance included Richard Fain, Ben Fiorito, Eugene Fried and
Mary Kershner. Also in attendance were John
Weber, Township Engineer, Steven English, Township Solicitor and Stanley Seitzinger,
Jr., Township Manager.
(Chairman Mudd announced that an executive session concerning matters
of current litigation had preceded the meeting.)
Citizens Comments
Timothy and Yvonne Stampf of 1000 Creekview Drive presented information
to the Board of Supervisors regarding settlement problems at their
residence. Discussion ensued.
Approval of Minutes
Mrs. Fiorito moved to approve the January 5, 2011 Regular Meeting
Minutes. The motion was seconded by Mr.
Carter and carried affirmatively with Mr. Fain abstaining from the vote.
Announcements
Chairman Mudd announced that March 16, 2011 is the last date for
submission of plans for review by the Township Engineer and discussion at the April
6, 2011 Regular Meeting.
Plans Scheduled for Discussion
A. Upper Perkiomen Valley
Ambulance Association Land Development Plan
Township Engineer Weber discussed the February 25, 2011 review letter
with the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors.
Mr. Carter moved to recommend final approval of the Upper Perkiomen
Valley Ambulance Association Land Development Plan as per the plan prepared by
Stout, Taconnelli and Associates dated July 7, 2006, last revised February 3,
2011 as per the February 25, 2011 LTL Consultants review letter. The motion was seconded by Mrs. Fiorito and
carried unanimously.
Current Plans Without
New Activity
Current plans without new activity were reviewed.
New Business
General Discussion
A brief general discussion concerning the status of planning activities
in Upper Hanover Township was presented.
Monthly Reports
A. Zoning
Township Manager Seitzinger reported that there were no zoning subjects
scheduled for discussion.
B. Building Permit Report and
Escrow Report
The monthly reports were entered into the record.
C. Regional Planning Commission
Report
Mrs. Kershner provided an update of the most recent Regional Planning
meeting.
Other
Township Engineer Weber reported upon the status of the zoning map
update.
Adjournment
Mrs. Fiorito moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:25 p.m. The motion was
seconded by Mr. Kalb and carried unanimously.
