UPPER HANOVER TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING MINUTES OF APRIL 6, 2016

 

 

 

Call to Order

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Jacqueline Fiorito.

 

Roll Call

 

Planning Commission members in attendance included Alex Anastas, Richard Fain, Jacqueline Fiorito, Stefan Laessig and Brandon Reed. Also in attendance were John Weber, Township Engineer and Stan Seitzinger, Jr., Township Manager.

 

Citizen Comments

 

Citizens in attendance did not present comments.

 

Approval of Minutes

 

Mr. Anastas moved to approve the Regular Meeting Minutes of March 2, 2016. The motion was seconded by Mr. Fain and carried affirmatively with Mr. Laessig abstaining from the vote.

 

Announcements

 

Mrs. Fiorito announced that April 13, 2016 is the last date for submission of plans for review by the Township Engineer and discussion at the May 4, 2016 Regular Meeting.

A. Glenwood Chase Subdivision

 

Manager Seitzinger reported that a time extension to July 31, 2016 was received.

 

B. Schultz Minor Subdivision

 

Manager Seitzinger reported that a time extension to July 31, 2016 was received.

 

C. Richard A. Kulp Minor Subdivision

 

The latest LTL Consultants review letter was discussed and reviewed with a representative of the applicant.

 

 

 

D. Pederson Self Storage Sketch Plan

 

The Planning Commission reviewed and discussed the proposed sketch plan with representatives of the applicant. The applicant was requested to revise the sketch plan to show further turning radius information.

 

Current Plans Without New Activity

 

Current plans without new activity were reviewed.

 

New Business

 

A. Zoning Ordinance Text Amendments

 

The Planning Commission discussed additional proposed text amendments.

The following scheduled zoning matters were discussed:

 

1.      Dennis Eck Conditional Use Hearing April 12, 2016

2.      Cameron Bowser and Beverly Plosa-Bowser Conditional Use Hearing

April 12, 2016

3.      The Loft at Sweet Water Conditional Use June 14, 2016

4.      Raeanne Hofkin Zoning Hearing Application April 20, 2016

 

B. Building Permit Report and Escrow Report

 

The monthly reports were entered into the record.

 

C. Regional Planning Commission Report

 

A report was not presented.

 

D. Scheduling of the Next Planning Commission Meeting

 

The next Planning Commission Meeting will be held on May 4, 2016.

Mr. Anastas moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:48 p.m. The motion was seconded by Mr. Reed and carried unanimously.
