UPPER HANOVER TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING MINUTES OF JUNE 1, 2016

 

 

 

 

Call to Order

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Jacqueline Fiorito.

 

Roll Call

 

Planning Commission members in attendance included Alex Anastas, Richard Fain, Jacqueline Fiorito and Brandon Reed. Also in attendance were John Weber, Township Engineer and Stan Seitzinger, Jr., Township Manager.

 

Citizen Comments

 

Citizens in attendance did not present comments.

 

Approval of Minutes

 

Mr. Anastas moved to approve the Regular Meeting Minutes of May 4, 2016. The motion was seconded by Mr. Reed and carried affirmatively.

 

Announcements

 

Mrs. Fiorito announced that June 15, 2016 is the last date for submission of plans for review by the Township Engineer and discussion at the July 6, 2016 Regular Meeting.

 

Old Business

 

Plans Scheduled for Discussion

 

A. Glenwood Chase Subdivision

 

Manager Seitzinger reported that the developer provided a waiver of municipal planning code time limit requirements.

 

B. Schultz Minor Subdivision

 

Manager Seitzinger reported that the developer provided a waiver of municipal planning code time limit requirements.

 

C. Northgate Phase 5B Subdivision Plan

 

The plan was tabled.

 

 

 

 

 

D. 2514 Wasser Road Pre-Sketch Concept Plan

 

Carey Brinkman and Kevin Brinkman along with Paul Yaskowski, P.E. presented a pre-sketch concept plan for the property located at 2514 Wasser Road.

 

Mr. Yaskowski reported that he will prepare correspondence and request an opinion from Township Solicitor Skypala. Township Manager Seitzinger requested the establishment of an escrow for the project.

 

Current Plans Without New Activity

 

Current plans without new activity were reviewed.

 

New Business

 

A. Zoning Ordinance Text Amendments

 

Discussion ensued concerning the proposed zoning ordinance text amendments.

 

Mr. Reed moved to recommend adoption of the zoning ordinance text amendments to the Board of Supervisors. The motion was seconded by Mr. Anastas and carried affirmatively.

 

Monthly Reports

 

A. Zoning

 

1. Sweet Water Golf Course, Inc. Conditional Use Hearing

 

Manager Seitzinger reported that the conditional use hearing is scheduled for June 14, 2016.

 

B. Building Permit Report and Escrow Report

 

The monthly reports were entered into the record.

 

C. Regional Planning Commission Report

 

A report was presented.

 

D. Scheduling of Next Planning Commission Meeting

 

The next Planning Commission Meeting will be scheduled for July 6, 2016.
