UPPER HANOVER TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION
†REGULAR MEETING MINUTES OF OCTOBER 2, 2019
Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Brandon Reed followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
Planning Commission members in attendance were Alex Anastas, Richard Fain, Jacqueline Fiorito, Stefan Laessig and Brandon Reed. †Also in attendance were John Weber, Township Engineer and Stan Seitzinger, Jr., Township Manager.†
Citizens in attendance did not present comments.
Approval of Minutes
Mrs. Fiorito moved to approve the August 7, 2019 Planning Commission Regular Meeting Minutes. †The motion was seconded by Mr. Anastas and carried unanimously.
Mr. Reed announced that October 16, 2019 is the last date for submission of plans for review by the Township Engineer and discussion at the November 6, 2019 regular meeting.
Plans Scheduled for Discussion
1. The Kershner Tract Trail
Discussion ensued with the developer concerning the proposed location of a trail on the open space section of the Kershner Tract located in Upper Hanover Township.
Mrs. Fiorito moved to recommend that the Planning Commission recommend support for the conceptual trail proposed for the open space area of the Kershner Village, LLC Sketch Plan.† The referenced open space is located in an LI Zoning District of Upper Hanover Township, will be used for environmental protection and passive recreation and will be owned by the development Kershner Village, LLC and maintained by the residentís homeowners association.† The motion was seconded by Mr. Anastas and carried unanimously.
Current Plans Without New Activity
Manager Seitzinger reported that he tried to contact P&B Partitions regarding the status of their project, but was unable to make contact with a P&B representative.
The Planning Commission reviewed the Farmland and Open Space Map prepared by LTL Consultants.
It was reported that the digital sign ordinance was under review by the Township Solicitor.

The monthly reports were entered into the record.
C.† Regional Planning Commission Report
Mr. Anastas provided an update.
Mr. Fain moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:07 p.m.† The motion was seconded by Mrs. Fiorito and carried unanimously. †
