UPPER HANOVER TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION

REGULAR MEETING MINUTES OF JANUARY 6, 2021

Call to Order

The remote Zoom meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. by Chairman Brandon Reed.

Roll Call

Planning Commission members in attendance were Sharon Bastone, Alternate, Richard Fain, William Kalb, Stefan Laessig, Brandon Reed and Timothy Woodward. Also in attendance were John Weber, Township Engineer and Stan Seitzinger, Jr., Township Manager.

Election of 2021 Officers

Township Manager Stan Seitzinger, Jr. assumed the position of Chairman Pro-Tem and requested nominations for the position of Chairman and Vice-Chairman.

Mr. Laessig moved to approve Brandon Reed as the Chairman for the 2021 calendar year. The motion was seconded by Mr. Woodward and carried unanimously.

Mr. Kalb moved to approve Stefan Laessig as the Vice-Chairman for the 2021 calendar year. The motion was seconded by Mr. Fain and carried unanimously.

Mr. Kalb agreed to act as the Planning Commission Representative to Regional Planning in 2021. Sharon Bastone agreed to act as the alternate.

Citizen Comments

Citizens in attendance did not present comments.

Approval of Minutes

Mr. Kalb moved to approve the December 2, 2020 Planning Commission Regular Meeting Minutes. The motion was seconded by Mr. Laessig and carried unanimously.

Announcements

Mr. Reed announced that January 13, 2021 is the last date for submission of plans for review by the Township Engineer and discussion at the February 3, 2021 regular meeting.

Monthly Reports

A. Zoning

1. ATR – Age Targeted Residential Overlay District – Kraussdale Road

There was nothing new to report.

2. Thomas and Lara Bucher Zoning Hearing

It was reported that the application would be revised and that the Planning Commission can review the revised application at the February 3, 2021 meeting.

B. Building Permit Report and Escrow Report

The monthly reports were entered into the record.

C. Regional Planning Commission Report

It was noted that a December meeting was not held.

D. Next Planning Commission Meeting – February 3, 2021

The next Planning Commission meeting was tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, February 3, 2021.

Adjournment

Mr. Fain moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:20 p.m. The motion was seconded by Mr. Kalb and carried unanimously.
