HANOVER TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION
REGULAR MEETING MINUTES OF JUNE 3, 2020
Call to Order
The
remote Zoom meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Brandon Reed.
Roll Call
Planning Commission members in attendance were Alex Anastas, Richard
Fain, William Kalb, Stefan Laessig and Brandon Reed. Also in attendance were John
Weber, Township Engineer, T.J. Figaniak, Gilmore and Associates and Stan
Seitzinger, Jr., Township Manager.
Citizen Comments
There were not any citizens in attendance.
Approval of Minutes
Mr.
Laessig moved to approve the February 5, 2020 Planning Commission Regular
Meeting Minutes. The motion was seconded
by Mr. Anastas and carried unanimously.
Announcements
Mr.
Reed announced that June 10, 2020 is the last date for submission of plans for
review by the Township Engineer and discussion at the July 1, 2020 regular meeting.
Old Business
Act 537 Plan Update
T.J.
Figaniak of Gilmore Associates reviewed and discussed the Act 537 Plan update
for the Perkiomen study area. Discussion ensued. Mr. Kalb moved to recommend
the Act 537 Plan Update for the Perkiomen Study Area for approval by the Upper
Hanover Township Board of Supervisors. The motion was seconded by Mr. Anastas
and carried unanimously.

There
were not any plans scheduled for discussion.
Current Plans Without New Activity
Current
plans without new activity were reviewed.
New Business

Monthly Reports
A. Zoning
1. Craig Pedersen Zoning Hearing
- June 17, 2020
The
Planning Commission did not provide a recommendation.
2. Chowns Zoning Hearing – July 15, 2020
A
brief discussion ensued concerning the scheduled hearing.
B. Building Permit Report and
Escrow Report
The
monthly reports were entered into the record.
C. Regional Planning Commission
Report
Alex
Anastas provided an update.
D. Next Planning Commission Meeting – July 1, 2020
The
Planning Commission will determine whether to hold the July 1, 2020 meeting via
Zoom or at the Municipal Building at a later date.
Adjournment
Mr.
Anastas moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:58 p.m. The motion was seconded by Mr. Laessig and
carried unanimously.
